Our "Workplace Series" 2 year Certification Courses

Basic First Aid   ($50 - class size 9-18:  $40)

ASHI Basic First Aid was created to help students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the current 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.

Course highlights:

• Course Length - 3 1/2 hours.

  • Available in Spanish

• Designed for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care.
• Real-life scenario videos, full-color printed materials and clear, concise course content.
• 2-year certification.

Class topics include:
• Response preparation
• Recognizing an emergency
• Consent
• Patient assessment
• Bleeding control
• Injuries, shock and poisoning

CPR, AED: Adult-Child-Infant ($55 - class size  9-18:  $45)

ASHI CPR and AED is designed specifically for lay people and is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting. This extremely flexible program will help prepare people to respond to a cardiac arrest and choking. This program conforms to the current 2015 AHA Guidelines

Course highlights:

Course Length - 4 hours.

  • Available in Spanish.

• Designed for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED

This course is an excellent choice for Family settings. It awards a 2 year certification same as the Pediatric Course, but with additions for multi generation application. This flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to Family Cardiac
emergencies.
Course Length - 4 hours.
